Details of the service provider

WMV GmbH

General description of the service

The website www.wmv.com serves to provide information about our products and services in the field of surface treatment plant engineering and to contact our company.

Explanations on the implementation of the service

On our website www.wmv.com you can find comprehensive information about our systems and technologies, such as industrial centrifuges, cleaning and coating systems and automation solutions. You have the opportunity to find out about our company, our services such as spare parts supply and modernization as well as our technical center. The website also offers you various ways to get in touch with us.

Status of compatibility with the requirements

This website is partially compatible with the requirements of the harmonized European standard EN 301 549 (in its current version) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA, due to the incompatibilities listed below. The aforementioned standards form the technical basis for the Accessibility Improvement Act (BFSG).

We are actively working to remove the barriers described below in order to improve compliance.

Documents (PDFs): The website may offer documents (e.g. brochures, technical data sheets) as PDF files for download. These may not be available in an accessible version, meaning that they cannot be read by screen readers or can only be read insufficiently.

Alternative texts for images and graphics: It is possible that not all images and graphic control elements have meaningful alternative texts.

Contrasts: The design of the website may have color contrasts in some places that are not sufficient for people with visual impairments to clearly recognize text and controls.

Videos: Embedded videos do not have subtitles or audio descriptions throughout, making them inaccessible for hearing or visually impaired users.

Forms: Contact forms or other input fields may not be fully optimized for use with assistive technologies, which can make it difficult to use them without errors.

Barrier-free alternatives

An interactive sidebar (accessibility sidebar) is available to enable you to use our website as barrier-free as possible. This allows you to make direct adjustments to the page display, such as changing the font size and contrasts, highlighting links or using an integrated read-aloud function (screen reader).

We offer personal support for all content that is not accessible to you, especially PDF documents and videos. We are happy to provide alternative formats or text summaries on request. Please use the contact options listed at the end of this statement.

Non-accessible parts of the service – implementation deadlines

Non-accessible parts of the service – implementation deadlines

We strive to continuously improve the accessibility of our website and to gradually remove existing barriers. We have planned the following measures to achieve this:

1. basic technical accessibility (in implementation, planned completion: end of Q3 2026)

Alternative texts: We revise all informative images and graphic control elements and provide them with meaningful alternative texts.

Contrasts: Critical color contrasts in the text and operating area are adjusted in accordance with WCAG requirements to ensure readability for people with visual impairments.

Forms: Our contact forms are being revised to ensure complete and error-free operation with assistive technologies (especially screen readers and keyboard).

2. accessibility of content (ongoing)
– Video content: All new videos published from 01.01.2026 will have subtitles as standard. We will also add subtitles to important existing videos by the end of Q4 2026.

PDF documents: New documents are already being created barrier-free. The following applies to our stock of older documents: we will identify important and frequently requested documents, such as central product brochures, and gradually convert them into an accessible PDF version or prepare their content as an accessible website (HTML) by the end of Q1 2027. Our offer of personal support will continue to apply to all other documents.

3. long-term anchoring
The accessibility criteria are an integral part of our digital processes. All future technical changes and content enhancements to the website will take accessibility into account from the outset.
