The rinsing and washing process can be individually controlled and optimized depending on the recipe. Standard pre-rinsing and rinsing with every rinse cycle ensures the best cleaning results after salt bath hardening.
Particularly sustainable: the centrifuging of the still liquid salt directly after the salt bath treatment in a heated centrifuge. This allows our systems to recover up to 95% of the salt. You save valuable resources and obtain optimally cleaned materials – designed for long-term use.
Always a winning combination – even for complex geometries
WMV salt rinsing systems are integrated solutions that can also be individually designed for special requirements. For parts with complex geometries, for example, swivel-mounted centrifuges ensure optimum spin-off results.
Even salt from cavities or parts lying flat on top of each other can be reliably removed – and returned to the salt bath through heated pipes after hardening.

The flushing process – step by step
All 4 cleaning phases of our salt rinsing systems can be individually adapted. This ensures optimum treatment of your goods and clean batch separation even after salt bath hardening. At the heart of every system is the centrifuge drum, which is specifically adapted to the perforation, type of sheet metal and range of parts: the goods are transported through the entire process in this drum until they are emptied.

What do you need salt flushing systems for?
Salt rinsing systems are used after salt bath hardening. After salt bath hardening, liquid salt sticks to the material. Salt rinsing systems are required to clean the material. Here, the excess salt is spun off and cleaned.
Which materials are treated by salt bath hardening?
Salt bath hardening is suitable for virtually all steels. In the WMV system, mainly spring steels, clips and smaller sheets are hardened in the WMV system and then cleaned.
What is salt bath hardening?
In salt bath hardening, the material to be hardened is brought to a uniform temperature in a molten salt. Once the desired temperature has been reached, the hardened components are quenched in a hot bath.
