Improved delivery conditions and service offerings: With the founding of WMV Surface Technology Inc., WMV is strengthening its presence in the USA and laying the foundation for sustainable, strategic growth in the areas of surface treatment and automation in the USA.
WMV has been represented in the USA since 1999. The Pontiac site in the area of Detroit, Michigan, is now being systematically expanded. The aim is to strengthen market presence, intensify proximity to customers and partners, and bring WMV’s innovative solutions to market even faster.

55 years of WMV – Celebrating the Together

On April 4. 2025: Around 200 guests from Germany and abroad will join us at the Windeck site to celebrate joint successes, technological progress – and the rebranding of WMV as an experienced technology partner for automation in surface treatment. At the heart of the celebrations are joint networking and “hands-on” innovations: one highlight is the new WMV Technical Center, which simulates insights into our latest technological developments in live operation. The focus: more digital progress, efficiency and precision.
