Together into the future: The power of now and team spirit at WMV
On September 8, the time had finally come. We celebrated our summer jam party together with all our employees. The anticipation was particularly high this year, as there had been rumours of new developments in the run-up to the event.
In a very emotional speech at the opening, our Managing Director Martin Mรผller began by asking fundamental questions: Where do we come from as WMV? What path have we taken together over the past 50 years? Where are we now? Why is the time ripe for a transformation? And what does the future hold for us? Or rather: How do we stay ready for the future?
Martin Mรผller and his team have looked very closely at and analyzed all of these issues over the past few months. The result: gratitude for what has gone before. Curiosity about the future. And the power of a new way of working together.
The power of now
Because one thing cannot be denied: We are all collectively – as a society and as a company – at a turning point. We are using this momentum as an opportunity for us, WMV, and are developing a transformation in our organization that suits us. And that makes us fit for the future. Our new power is a new “We together for the future”: ‘team up’ and let’s ‘take off’.
Fit and stable for the future together
We have formed the WMV management team for this new path. In future, we will no longer operate on a departmental basis, but will take an interdisciplinary and networked approach โ both internally and externally.
We want to distribute responsibility within this new team and work together on strategic issues. This process is not yet complete, but is continuing โ also as part of the strategic transformation.
Martin and Barbro Mรผller are the beating heart of the management team. Together with them, the focus of the management is on this transformation process. And in particular on the further development of the company in order to remain innovative and fit for the future.

Together, we will provide WMV with leadership in the future. We will take responsibility, drive forward and implement future strategies and be the point of contact for employees and customers. Our way of working is networked, interdisciplinary, open and innovation-driven. Our goal is the future viability of WMV as a reliable partner for our customers and as a strong employer in the region.
Celebrating with the employees
After so much transformation input, it was time to celebrate. It was very important to us to enjoy our time together with the entire team with all our senses after the coronavirus period. The theme was โSummer Jamโ
This was clearly achieved with the best weather and a great atmosphere.
A food truck, good music, plenty of drinks, a beach atmosphere ๐ and games provided an inviting and cheerful setting for everyone. We were also delighted that our colleagues from WMV-ASIA, WMV USA and UAS were there.
