As a major worldwide manufacturer of fasteners, Norm Coating is a global player with the highest quality demands. It was precisely these demands that convinced the company to purchase the new WMV technology PULZ® (Planetary Recirculating Coating Centrifuge).
The PULZ® Surface treatment system
With the surface treatment PULZ® system, Norm Coating in Turkey is equipped with innovative cutting-edge technology. In the future, this coating system will be used by the customer to meet the ever-increasing quality requirements with regard to miniature parts, as this WMV technology sets new quality standards. This innovative technology ensures that very small parts receive an evenly applied surface in the coating process and that the paint build-up in the cavities and recesses is just as even as on the remaining surface. These quality requirements can only be achieved by the technology implemented by WMV – 32 g centrifugal forces & simultaneous part circulation.

This surface quality is essential for the efficient further processing of very small parts. This is because it is carried out by means of automatic feeding and means, for example, that a screw is fastened in the production process by a robot with a bit attached. This process must not be disturbed by accumulations of paint. The PULZ® coating system meets precisely these market requirements and thus solves a problem in the industry which has repeatedly led to production disruptions in the past.

Up to 30% less paint is required, contributing to sustainability and economic efficiency. This innovative development for surface treatment, brings another fabulous plus point: Up to 30% reduced paint requirement! The technology implemented – centrifugal forces & simultaneous parts circulation – makes it possible. The high throughput rates of the surface treatment PULZ® – 120 kg per batch – thus ensure a contribution to sustainability combined with a simultaneous cost reduction for our customer Norm Coating.
